12:16. ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোক দেখল নতুন রাজা তাদের আবেদনে কর্ণপাত পর্য়ন্ত করল না| তখন তারা রাজাকে এসে বলল, “আমরা কি দায়ূদের পরিবারভুক্ত? মোটেই না| আমরা কি য়িশযের জমির কোনো ভাগ পাই ? না! তাহলে দেশবাসীরা চলো আমরা আমাদের নিজের বাড়িতে ফিরে যাই| দায়ূদের পুত্র তার নিজের লোকদের ওপর রাজত্ব করুক|” একথা বলে ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা য়ে যার বাড়িতে ফিরে গেল|

12:16. When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, the people answered the king, "We have no portion in David, no share in the son of Jesse! Return to your homes, O Israel! Now, look after your own dynasty, O David!" So Israel returned to their homes.

12:16. When all Israel realized that the king had refused to listen to them, they responded, "Down with the dynasty of David! We have no interest in the son of Jesse. Back to your homes, O Israel! Look out for your own house, O David!" So the people of Israel returned home.
